Got Snuba ?

You may be wondering, "What exactly is SNUBA?"

It is a very unique way of discovering the underwater world without having to scuba dive. You could say it's the next step to scuba diving without having to be certified or having to go through extensive lessons. Snuba will take you a step beyond snorkeling. The experience is very similar to scuba diving except there is no tank on your back. Snuba is very safe, much less expensive than scuba, and children as young as nine years old may participate.

The "air tank" actually floats in a raft on top of the water with two "twenty-five foot" air hoses attached to the tank. This enables two people to experience the underwater world at the same time. Each person interested in trying Snuba is briefed on the use of the equipment (regulator, harness, weight belt, etc.) and the different hand signals used underwater when communicating with the Certified Dive Master. The dive master will introduce you to a "new" breathtaking view of the underwater world where you can see many species of tropical fish, eels, sea urchins, and a variety of coral!

You are provided with all of the equipment including a shorty wet suit. The experienced dive master will take up to six people at a time (three rafts w/ three air tanks floating on the surface) down to approximately 25-feet below the surface of the water. This introduction to the spectacular underwater world lasts about 20 to 30 minutes and is something you don't want to miss!
