Educational Marine Life and Reef Etiquette Program:
There’s something new on the Prince Kuhio that is being offered on all of our daily snorkeling cruises.  Many visitors to Hawaii have a keen interest in learning as much as they can about Hawaii’s very diverse culture and natural surroundings.  The marine life and eco systems of our reefs provide a very special and unique educational experience that we want to share with visitors to our beautiful island of Maui.  Guests on the Prince Kuhio will receive a brief educational lesson about the marine life that they will experience at each snorkel location and instructed on the importance of proper reef etiquette.  Our knowledgeable staff members will use a colorful flip chart which will feature marine life and reef information for each site that we visit, such as Molokini and Keawala’i.  This new feature is sure to enhance everyone’s snorkel experience while providing them with information about the importance of Hawaii’s reefs and the need to preserve them.  The Prince Kuhio staff has worked hand-in-hand with members of the Maui Reef Fund and Coral Alliance to make this new program a truly unique and memorable experience.
